Get to Know CMV Carpentry
I retrained as a carpenter about 10 years ago. Initially I worked as a Joiner in a windows manufacturer company, then went to work for as a carpenter at a camper van conversion company.
I was there for about 4 years, changing panel vans into camper vans. I build everything from scratch, complete interiors, bedrooms, kitchens seating. Adding windows, pop up roofs, install water systems, electricity. After this I went to work for a famous Swedish flat pack company. Here I installed and maintained kitchens in the showrooms and for a while did customer remedial visits.
In 2019 my family and I decided to travel (inbetween lockdowns) the U.K. in a narrow boat. The boat we brought was a day hire boat, which I converted to be suitable for family to live in full time.
Now it is 2022 and I have left the Swedish flat pack company and I am setting off working for myself.
Due to my training and experience, I am capable of many different projects which include, boxing in, doors, windows, skirting, flooring, installing and altering kitchens, altering camper vans and boats and installing flat pack furniture to mention a few.
